Technopolis Ülemiste granted EUR 11 mln loan

ESTONIA Technopolis Ülemiste has been granted an EUR 11 mln loan by Swedbank to finance the construction of a 13-storey office building in the Ülemiste City business district in Tallinn.

“The office block that’s going up at Lõõtsa 12 represents our biggest property project for the next couple of years,” stated Gert Jostov, the chairman of the board of Technopolis Ülemiste. “It’ll provide around 10,000 sqm of new office space in the district.”

According to Gert Jostov, the demand for modern office space in Tallinn is high, with companies preferring to lease in modern energy-saving buildings. “One of the target groups we’re looking at for the new building is that of companies currently working in older, less efficient space,” he said.
