Shyam Khandekar is Co-Founder and Director of the Knowledge Platform, My Liveable City and Editorial Director of its urbanism journal. He is an urban designer, city planner and architect with four decades of design experience in Europe and India. He was the founder and director of the award-winning Dutch design practice Khandekar Urban Design and Landscape, that continued under the name BDP.Khandekar. From 2008-2012 he served as Company Director of the major international design practice BDP, headquartered in London.
Prof. Hassan Radoine is an architecture curator, critic, educator, author and consultant. He is currently the Director of the School of Architecture, Urbanism and Design at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic in Morocco (UM6P) and was previously the Director of the École Nationale d’Architecture (2013-2017).
He also Chaired the Architectural Engineering Department at University of Sharjah, UAE (2010-2013). He received his first architect diploma from ENA. As Fulbright Scholar, he completed an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned an M.Phil. in Architecture from the Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture and University of Wales. He has taught at the University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College, University of Sharjah, American University of Sharjah, Al Akhawayn University, and École nationale d’architecture.
