The Urban Future is the most important conference for sustainable cities in Europe. Every year, a different, innovative city hosts the meeting place for thousands of CityChangers from all over the world. Experts and decision-makers from politics, business and civil society combine their know-how and passion to ensure that change in our cities succeeds.
Hierarchy or organizational form do not matter when specialists from areas such as mobility, energy, real estate & construction, urban planning, governance, technology, finance, IT, etc. speak openly about successes and failures. The unmistakable atmosphere of the conference is characterized by the mix of different professions and the collective passion of the visitors to change cities sustainably.
The actors of the Urban Future have a common goal in common: How does change succeed? They report on practical experiences, successes and failures. From them we learn how change can work – or how not. Anyone who is present at Urban Future acquires new know-how, makes new contacts and gains new motivation to initiate the necessary change processes in our cities.
Around 3000 visitors can look forward to three days of compressed know-how with more than 100 sessions, workshops, seminars and field trips. More than 250 international speakers are looking forward to talking to the community of city delegations, politics, business, industry as well as NGOs and associations, to networking with like-minded people and to forming new partnerships - inspiration kick included!
ICF co-founder Lou Zacharilla will be delivering a keynote during The Urban Future and moderating a panel as well!
