Yet for the past decades it has underperformed the ”Services” economies of America’s coastal states and cities. 

But that is changing dramatically thanks to the efforts of groups like Heartland Forward.  With entrepreneurial programs and toolkits, this ”Think and DO” tank as they call themselves has been unlocking the intelligence, culture, and capital in places as diverse as Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Oxford, Mississippi, and attempting to drive investment to the heartland of USA.
