Traveling to the City University of New York at Staten Island via the Staten Island Ferry

• If traveling from Novotel
  • You have two options to get to the Ferry. You can take an Uber/Taxi/Lyft, or travel by NYC Subway.
  • If you are traveling by Subway:
    • Leave the hotel, right Right onto Broadway.
    • Walk to Broadway and 50^th Street (Approximately 5 minutes)
    • Enter the Subway for the 1 Subway towards Downtown.
    • Take the 1 Subway to South Ferry Station. This is the station for the Staten Island Ferry.  (Approximately 20 minutes)
    • Follow the instructions below.

• If traveling from Yotel:
  • You have two options to get to the Ferry. You can take an Uber/Taxi/Lyft, or travel by NYC Subway.
  • If you are traveling by Subway:
    • Leave Yotel and turn right onto 42^nd Street.
    • Walk to 42^nd Street and Times Square (Approximately 10 minutes)
    • Enter the Subway for the 1 Subway towards Downtown.
    • Take the 1 Subway to South Ferry Station (Approximately 20 minutes)
    • Exit at the sign for Ferries to Staten Island. Follow the instructions below. 

• Once you are at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal (4 Whitehall Street, Manhattan)
  • Board the next ferry boat. All ferries from this station lead to Staten Island. Ferries leave approximately every 15 minutes.
  • Once the ferry arrives in Staten Island, exit the ferry and walk into the terminal. Once you enter into the terminal, there will be an ICF guide waiting for you. Turn left and walk to the end of the hallway. At this point, you will see a sign for the shuttle area.
  • Head up the stairs to the shuttle area. You will see another ICF Guide waiting for you. They will direct you onto a shuttle, which will take you to campus. 

Traveling to the The Top7 Intelligent Communities Reception from the City University of New York at Staten Island via the Staten Island Ferry

• There will be a shuttle bus waiting for you at the campus. This shuttle will take you to the Staten Island Ferry
• Board the next Ferry to Manhattan
• Once the ferries arrive, there will be ICF Guides leading groups to the Museum. If you do not find the guide, or wish to walk on your own:
  • Exit the Ferry, take the escalators down to street level, and walk straight on the walking path until you reach the street at the end. Turn right onto Water Street. Turn left on Broad Street
  • Turn right on S William Street
  • Continue on William Street until you reach the corner of S William and Wall St. The address of the building is 48 Wall St.
