The course teaches how cities and regions can engage primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities with local government and employers to turn education into a ladder of opportunity for children and adults. It offers examples from multiple countries and communities of different sizes on the successful integration of education and employment to lift up their people while supplying the talent their employers need. The course includes comprehension testing and an assortment of helpful additional content to enrich understanding.

To get full value from this workshop, registrants should complete the above one-hour, self-paced online course on their own between 20 May and 29 May, then attend a two-hour online workshop to discuss the content and conclusions of the course, hear from ICF community leaders and share their own experiences.
