Amy Rowland – Guns, Violence & the Journey Home, Part 2

In this episode of The Intelligent Community, ICF Co-Founder Lou Zacharilla speaks with Amy Rowland, Award-Winning Novelist and Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley.

American writer and lecturer Amy Rowland discusses her new novel, Inside the Wolf and its relation to her return to her rural community in North Carolina (USA).  During this podcast Ms Rowland and Lou explore the relationship between urban and rural communities within the context of violence as well as the shifts in culture and our relationships with one another. We ask what an “Intelligent Community” really means outside the small circle of tech-savvy places.  She demonstrates with depth and clarity why there really is no place like home.
