The city of Montreal is spending $3.6 million over two years on a new institute to study electrification and intelligent transportation, Mayor Denis Coderre announced Wednesday.
“Montreal is at the heart of the action on climate change,” Coderre said in a press release. “The creation of this institute represents an important step in the realization of our ambitious transport-electrification strategy.”
